Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC in Pelham, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Saw Operator to assist in the operation of various types of saws, including automatic and semi-automatic models. You will support machine start-up, monitor the cut process, and help ensure parts meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining fluid levels, reporting unsafe conditions to supervision, keeping work areas clean, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SUMMARY:

Assists in the operation of various types of saws both automatic and semi-automatic to perform such operations as cross cutting and mitering of metal including machine set up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists operator in machine start-up.
• Monitors cut process and notifies operator when problems arise.
• Monitors machine fluid level.
• Ensures quality of parts before forwarding them to the next operation.
• Reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Management.
• Responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent mental and visual attention where the flow is intermittent with intermittent checking.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally required to walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
