Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a shop floor assistant to support a variety of saw operations in a metal fabrication setting. The role involves assisting the operator with machine start-up, monitoring the cut process, and ensuring quality before parts advance.

The candidate should be comfortable with manual handling and maintain clean, safe work surroundings. Typical duties include reporting unsafe conditions, staying attentive to vision-related demands, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent mental and visual attention where the flow is intermittent with intermittent checking. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally required to walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
