Job summary

The Cook position at Kessler Collection is based in Savannah, GA, supporting the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District kitchen operations for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets. You will prepare all items per standard recipes while upholding high quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining storage areas, pre-opening prep, buffet presentation, and assisting in any kitchen station as needed, with focus on cost/production

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet food items according to hotel standards.
• Prepare food for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
• Follow all Health Department and Company regulations in regards to food and storage standards and safety.
• Be able to support any position in the Kitchen that is in need of help.
