Job summary

Pape-Dawson's Savannah office seeks an Associate Vice President to lead the land development team and manage complex residential projects from concept to closeout. This hands-on leader will mentor staff, own key client relationships, and support market growth in the Savannah region.

The ideal candidate will have extensive residential land development experience, a seller/doer background, and Georgia P.E. licensure, with public-sector exposure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• P.E. license in Georgia strongly preferred.
• 12+ years in civil engineering and land development.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams in residential development.
• Seller/doer background and public-sector exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Savannah land development team and guide office growth.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, designers and staff.
• Own complex residential land development projects from planning to closeout.
• Maintain direct client contact with developers and public agencies.
• Lead proposals, RFQs/RFPs, scoping, pricing, and contracts.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and staff development.
• Represent the firm with clients, industry groups, and communities.
