$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Job Summary

The Galaxy Restaurant is looking for full-time and/or part-time Line Cooks to join our Wadsworth, Ohio staff. The successful Line Cook will work within a high-paced team managing cooking and plating of food items. The ideal candidate must have an eager attitude and be able to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and cleanliness.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience ($15-$17/hour, DOE)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all foods according to standardized recipes and special requests.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly handled and functioning efficiently.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment and adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Prep, clean, slice, mince, and dice food products as required.
• Follow proper protocols for receiving, checking, and storing food items.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of standard kitchen safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work well with co-workers under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
