Job summary

Contec Inc in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Saturation Operator to perform setups, assembly, pack out, and in-process inspection of saturated non-woven products, reading controls plans and work orders to complete production.

You will set up equipment, manage material changeovers, issue Kanban cards for needed materials, perform inspections, clean the work area, and follow product drawings to finalize assembly and pack out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training (not required but preferred)

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets EDS's, Control Plans, and Work Orders as necessary to complete production
• Performs equipment setup and material changeover
• Requests required materials by distributing material KANBAN cards to the material handler.
• Performs in-process inspections as required by the Control Plans.
• Cleans the manufacturing work area as necessary or as required by maintenance work order.
• Follows product drawings to complete assembly and pack out process.
• Others as assigned.
