Job summary

Morrison Energy Group is hiring a Saturation Technician to setup, maintain and repair the saturation diving complex under the supervision of the Diving Supervisor. You will oversee life-support, electrical and hydraulic systems, gas handling, and environmental controls while ensuring maintenance logs and PMS records are up to date.

The role requires ADC accreditation, multiple safety certifications (TWIC, Safegulf, Rigger, First Aid/CPR, Water Survival) and substantial field days in saturation

Qualifications

• ADC accredited school or equivalent required.
• Saturation Technician Certificate required.
• TWIC, Safegulf, Rigger, First Aid & CPR, Water Survival certifications expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and repair the saturation diving complex.
• Manage life-support, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Oversee gas storage and transfers, compressors and environmental control.
• Calibrate and test components; perform PVHO repairs.
• Maintain logs and input PMS data; keep certification documents.
• Manage critical spares and launch/recovery systems; operate comms and video systems.

Basic Function

The basic function of the position is responsible for the set-up, maintenance and repair of the saturation diving complex and reports to the Diving Supervisor.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Life-support systems (primary and secondary).
• Electrical and electronic systems.
• Pneumatic systems.
• Hydraulic systems.
• Piping systems.
• Gas storage and transfers systems.
• Compressors.
• Environmental control systems.
• Calibration and testing of all components.
• PVHO repairs.
• Maintenance logs.
• PMS (preventative maintenance system) program and data entry.
• Certification documentations.
• Critical spares on board warehouse.
• Analytical instrumentation.
• Launch and recovery systems.
• TUP mating systems.
• Communication and video systems.
• Other ancillary equipment (e.g., jet pumps, power generators, etc.).

Educational Requirements

Required: Association of Diving Contractors (ADC) accredited school, TWIC, Safegulf, Rigger, First Aid and CPR, Water Survival, Saturation Technician Certificate

Experience: 100+ field days as an Assistant Saturation Technician.
