Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering LLC seeks a Space Systems Operator (SVO) in Grand Forks, ND to deliver 24/7 satellite operations support for the SDA T1TRK program. The role requires training, security clearance (Secret), and real-time telemetry and commanding expertise.

Training lasts 6-8 months in Palm Bay, FL (expenses paid) before reporting to the SDA Operations Center in Grand Forks. The position involves shift work, travel, and a strong focus on mission assurance.

Qualifications

• Must train and certify as a Satellite Vehicle Operator (SVO).
• 4 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or an AS degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time satellite operations including commanding and telemetry analysis.
• Perform satellite telemetry, tracking and commanding activities on the constellation.
• Assist with development of training material and training of satellite operators.
• Perform launch and early orbit checkout.
• Assist in updating checklists and procedures for satellite and ground system operations.
• Attend daily operations stand-up meetings and shift changeovers; contribute to monthly reviews.
• Troubleshoot network and ground system issues and provide inputs to engineering teams.
• Configure satellite ground system and network to support operations.
