Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a software engineer to build mission-critical backend services for the Atlas telemetry platform in Redmond, WA. You will help ingest, process, and visualize telemetry data and ensure high reliability and performance across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with team members to establish a strong software foundation in Leo, onboard new engineers, and leverage AWS and Amazon technologies to ship scalable services that meet mission criteria.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Leo.
Help on-board new team members.
Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services.
