Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a high-availability, real-time telemetry processing platform in the Atlas software engineering group. You will design and implement scalable services for ingesting, processing, and visualizing satellite data, and help onboard new engineers.

Join a mission-critical team focused on reliability and performance across multi-region systems, using AWS and Amazon technologies. You will collaborate with peers and contribute to the software backbone of the Leo network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Leo.
• Help on-board new team members.
• Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services.
