Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer in Redmond, WA, to lead test system validation and software/hardware integration across multiple manufacturing lines. You will analyze data with MATLAB or Python, develop test setups, and drive cross-functional test campaigns for satellite bus subsystems.

The role requires performance in a fast-paced hardware-software environment, ability to travel domestically and internationally, and a background in requirements

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and CI/CD pipelining.
• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience programming with Python, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Lead development test system validation.
• Lead software/hardware integration testing.
• Lead architectures and flows for multiple manufacturing test lines.
• Analyze data using MATLAB, Python, or similar.
• Support and organize release of software and hardware documents.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds.
• Write status/build reports for cross-functional review.
• Drive cross-functional schedules, test requirements, specs and limits with hardware team.
• Develop test setups and supporting hardware for subsystem validation of the satellite bus.
• Identify cross-functional tradeoffs and impact on performance, schedule, cost, risk, complexity, and scale.
• Provide DFT feedback throughout design process.
• Support production and integration efforts for hardware subsystems.
• Define test strategy and optimize test setups at CM with fixtures/equipment/software.
• Develop procedures and maintenance plans to support production.
• Communicate system integration and evaluation strategies for program learning and risk reduction.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
