Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Warfare Systems division is seeking RF Communications Engineers with a proven track record in military and defense systems. The role focuses on RF system characterization, satellite communications hardware, and communications signal processing.

This pipeline requisition is intended to gather interest for future opportunities; pay is dependent on experience and education, with active TS/SCI clearance required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 0-9+ years of relevant experience or
• Master's degree in related field and 0-7+ years of relevant experience or
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4-13+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a HITL test system for satellite communications link integrity.
• Perform link budget analysis and RF propagation modeling.
• Assist in automated test systems and multi-vendor equipment integration.
• Collaborate with program managers, systems engineers, and military stakeholders.
• Provide support and training for deployed systems; travel as needed.
