Job summary

Globalstar Inc. seeks a Regulatory Representative to manage U.S. regulatory affairs and coordinate with international stakeholders. You will oversee filings, spectrum coordination, and export control compliance across NA, Europe, and Asia.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and regulatory analysis skills, with travel as needed and interaction with multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FCC rules, ITU radio regulations, and spectrum management principles.
• Understanding of satellite communications technology and RF engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of filings and manage regulatory developments in the United States (and other countries as needed), coordinating efforts with our consultants and local counsel.
• Coordinate spectrum uses and orbital slot filing with international satellite operators in North America.
• Ensure compliance with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) for satellite technology and components in North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies in North America and respond to information requests. Act as secondary liaison for regulatory agencies across Europe and Asia.
• Support business development by assessing regulatory feasibility of new services or market expansion in North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Maintain and update database of licenses authorizations, and regulatory deadlines.
• Prepare regulatory briefings and presentations to leadership as it relates to North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Attending regulatory meetings in North America (and in Europe and Asia when necessary)
• Interfacing directly with regulatory authorities in North America, Europe, and Asia where we are maintaining and pursuing new licensing.
