Globalstar seeks a Regulatory Representative – D.C. to manage regulatory issues that arise in Washington, D.C. and ensure a consistent approach with Federal agencies. The role coordinates advocacy groups, outside counsel, and consultants to achieve regulatory goals.

The position supports filings, ITAR/EAR compliance, spectrum filing coordination, and liaison work with regulatory authorities in North America, Europe, and Asia, aiding business development and licensing efforts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FCC rules, ITU regulations, and spectrum management principles.
• Understanding of satellite communications technology and RF engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filings and manage regulatory developments in the United States (and other countries as needed).
• Coordinate spectrum uses and orbital slot filings with international operators.
• Ensure ITAR/EAR export controls compliance for satellite tech and components.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies in North America and act as secondary liaison for Europe and Asia.
