Job summary

Xona is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support inspection activities in a satellite AIT production facility. You will perform incoming, in-process and final inspections to verify that parts, components and satellites meet engineering requirements and quality standards.

You will document results in the company’s QMS/MES/ERP systems, read engineering drawings, and use standard measurement tools. A 3+ year background in aerospace/space manufacturing is preferred, with high school diploma

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality inspection in aerospace/space manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs and digital work instructions.
• Familiarity with GD&T and dimensional inspection concepts.
• Proficiency with QA and Manufacturing software tools.
• Strong documentation and traceability discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of parts and satellites.
• Document inspection results and ensure traceability in QMS/MES/ERP systems.
• Identify nonconformances and support containment/disposition activities.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges and PCB test equipment for measurements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and 5S in a cleanroom-like environment.
