Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Spacecraft Propulsion Engineer to design, analyze, and configure satellite propulsion subsystems across prototype, test, launch and operation lifecycles.

The role involves propulsion design, layout, materials identification, procurement, testing support and documentation for executives and customers. 100% onsite in California; TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

  • BS or higher in engineering or related field; US-equivalent acceptable.
  • Ability to design, develop, implement, test propulsion systems for spacecraft.
  • 1–5 years with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD package.
  • 1–2 years hands-on fabrication or build experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure propulsion systems for high-performance satellites.
  • Perform first-order layout and mass properties analyses.
  • Identify materials and facilities for propulsion systems.
  • Procure propulsion components and manage suppliers to meet cost/schedule targets.
  • Support qualification testing and develop test interfaces.
