Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) is seeking an Engineering Control Account Manager (CAM) for satellite systems in Englewood, CO. Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Engineering degree is preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Knowledge of earned value systems in a research or production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary interface between Engineering/Technical and Finance/Scheduling.
  • Develops WBS, detailed execution plans, timelines, and supporting data to manage program performance.
  • Represents the control account at IBRs and reports performance status to Program Management.
  • Develops Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and recovery strategies for variances.
  • Collaborates with PM, Product Team Leads and IPT Leads to plan and execute engineering development.
  • Prepares ETCs for remaining work and provides forecast dates for milestones.
  • Uses baseline change control and documents revisions via Budget Change Notices.
  • Identifies risks and applies risk management tools as required.
