Job summary

Tomorrow.io is seeking a full-time Electro-Mechanical Technician to contribute to the production, assembly, inspection, test, and integration of flight-ready hardware. You will work on avionics integration, harnessing, electronics testing, and system verification, with close collaboration to the Manufacturing Engineering team.

You will interpret drawings and BOMs, perform soldering and rework, run electrical tests, and ensure quality across the build lifecycle in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Aerospace or regulated production.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, PCBA layouts, schematics and BOMs.
• Knowledge of IPC, ESD, clean room practices and space hardware handling.
• Proficient with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Ion, Pride, Epsilon 3, Manufacturo.

Responsibilities

• Execute development and production tasks including inspection, soldering, rework of electronic/electro-mechanical components.
• Electrical testing/checkout of PCBA, harnesses and integrated systems.
• Assemble electro-mechanical subassemblies and box assemblies.
• Use precision tools and build wire harnesses and cables.
• Apply adhesives, epoxies, and coatings; maintain lab/workstation housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support flow from design to verification.
• Develop and review manufacturing plans and procedures.
• Follow schematics to perform manufacturing and test procedures.
