Capella Space is seeking a Satellite Operations Engineer for our Louisville, CO office with some remote work flexibility. In this role, you will manage the operational lifecycle of satellites, from launch to maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience, including proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis. We value creativity and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate within a team environment.
• Comfortable dealing with unknowns and addressing uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and commissioning of new satellites for autonomous operations.
• Perform spacecraft analysis, maintenance, and anomaly response.
• Develop and automate operational procedures and tools.
• Test and deploy satellite software updates.
• Support the execution of special projects and demonstrations.
• Interface with other teams for highly autonomous spacecraft operations.
