Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an RSSC Satellite Analyst to support the RSSC-West Commercial Cell at Peterson Space Force Base. You will focus on COMSATCOM lease management and EMI/RFI work, helping DoD customers acquire satellite capacity and track leases in use.

The role requires working on-site in Colorado Springs, CO, and an active TS/SCI clearance. You will develop SARs/SAAs, monitor system health, and report EMI trends while collaborating with DoD customers and CONUS partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years of SATCOM experience.
• Working knowledge of RF link parameters, carrier frequencies, and terminal look angles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SATCOM subject matter expertise within the RSSC-West AOR.
• Assist DoD and mission partners in defining and shaping requirements.
• Support frequency clearance and teleport availability planning.
• Develop SARs and SAAs with access times, contacts, and carrier parameters.
• Create reports detailing status of Gateways, Teleports, and terrestrial infrastructure.
• Report EMI/RFI through proper channels and document trends.
