Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an RSSC Satellite Analyst to support the U.S. Space Force CSCO RSSC-West at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.

You will focus on COMSATCOM lease management, EMI/RFI work, and ensuring availability of commercial satellite capacity for DoD customers. The role requires handling SARs/SAAs, coordinating with the frequency manager, and reporting on satellite health and incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 years of SATCOM experience in military or commercial environments.
• Knowledge of RF link parameters, carrier frequencies, and terminal look angles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide SATCOM subject matter expertise within RSSC-West AOR and maintain knowledge base on contracts and leases.
• Assist military and mission partner customers in defining and shaping requirements for COMSATCOM capabilities.
• Coordinate frequency clearance and local AOR teleport availability planning with the frequency manager.
• Develop and submit SARs and SAAs with all required parameters and contacts.
• Create reports on Gateways, Teleports, and terrestrial infrastructure status.
• Monitor EMI/RFI and report findings through proper channels and geolocate trends.
