Job summary

Auria seeks a Satellite Operations Controller to support the US Space Force's POPS-1 program, based on-site in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves analysis of ground and spacecraft systems, real-time monitoring, and mission support across shifts and environments.

Junior candidates need up to 3 years of experience or a BA/BS. Seniors require a BA/BS with 5+ years or an Associates with 7+ years. DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Junior role requires up to 3 years experience and/or a BA/BS degree.
• Senior role requires BA/BS with 5+ years experience, or Associates with 7+ years experience.
• Experience with space systems and space operations or other highly technical system/command and control operations.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Must have DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ground and spacecraft operational systems.
• Support projects, missions, and interface meetings, exercises and rehearsals.
• Perform long-term telemetry trending and notify the government of potential issues.
• Plan passes, schedule and orbit analysis; generate orbit products.
• Provide real-time evaluation and troubleshooting of space, payload and ground systems.
• Issue commands and directives to tracking stations within timelines.
• Conduct post-pass critiques with tracking stations and support centers.
• Provide 24x7x365 operational support.
• Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures.
• Support shift and crew management.
• Support mission planning, telemetry analysis, data management and related tasks.
