Auria Space is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a major DoD satellite ground systems program based at Kirtland AFB, NM. The role requires full-time on-site presence and oversight of IMS, WBS, and cross-domain teams across multiple contractors.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in complex federal programs, experience with Agile management, and strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and leadership. Citizenship and mission-driven focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, business management, or related field.
10+ years managing complex $50M+ DoD/federal programs including software development or system integration.
Experience managing space or satellite ground system programs.
Strong knowledge of ground system architecture, data ingest pipelines, cloud-based operations.
Expertise in Agile with cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Experience leading multi-subcontractor integration efforts.
Experience developing and coordinating Integrated Master Schedules.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
U.S. Citizenship; mission-driven.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government customer, leading overall program execution and delivery across all phases.
Own and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with baselines and milestones.
Develop, maintain, and control the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and baselines.
Manage end-to-end program execution from PWS baseline through task order delivery.
Oversee design, development, integration, and deployment of satellite ground system software and architecture components.
Lead Agile planning with disciplined sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
Coordinate program controls: cost forecasting, schedule performance tracking, and risk management.
Ensure compliance with RMF, cybersecurity, configuration/change management, and data deliverables.
Forecast future customer needs and coordinate task order execution plans.
Lead pre-RFP capture activities and proposal execution when required.
