Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a candidate to conduct real-time 24x7 space operations as a ground controller in Colorado Springs. You will support command and control of on-orbit satellites and factory testing, using system software to execute tasks and propose improvements.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work 24/7 shifts, and a TS clearance. You will interact with users, engineering, crew and management to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating command and control (C2) ground systems for satellite operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to support 24/7, 365 operations.
• Active Top Secret required.
• US Citizenship required.

Conducts program specific real time 24x7 space operations as a ground controller. Provide mission support in areas such as command and control of on-orbit satellites and factory testing. Utilizes system software to accomplish all tasks and recommends improvements. Analyzes and validates software performance. This is a shift-work position, and requires the ability to work any shift as required. The candidate will:

• Must be able to obtain CompTIA SecuirtyPlus certification within 90 days of employment.
• Utilize problem solving, and communication skills to support 24/7 operations, interact with users, engineering support, crew and management personnel as needed.
• Monitor crew logs for situational awareness.
• Maintain crew logs for activities that happen on shift.
• Contribute to procedural updates and procedure validation as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in operation of command and control (C2) ground systems related to satellite operations.
• Must be an effective communicator with strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to support 24/7, 365 operations.
• Active Top Secret required.
• US Citizenship is required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
