Job summary

Elveo in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to enable rapid satellite production by writing detailed work instructions and defining process flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or similar).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating work instructions and process documentation.
• Hands-on experience designing or building test fixtures, jigs, or tooling.
• Experience with maintaining work instructions in MES software.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and test operations.
• Working with technicians and engineers to ensure processes are clear, efficient, and manufacturable.
• Designing and building test fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production and testing.
• Identifying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements including opportunities to automate processes.
• Maintaining revision control and ensuring accuracy of all manufacturing documentation.
