Job summary

Elveo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support satellite production in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on creating detailed work instructions, defining process flows, and building test fixtures to enable repeatable, high-rate manufacturing.

Experience with MES and CAD tools is preferred to translate designs into manufacturable processes. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute to DFМ improvements, and maintain strict documentation control while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience creating work instructions and process documentation.
• Hands-on experience designing or building test fixtures, jigs, or tooling.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with MES software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and test operations.
• Work with technicians and engineers to ensure processes are clear, efficient, and manufacturable.
• Design and build test fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production and testing.
• Identify Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements including automation opportunities and equipment needs.
• Maintain revision control and accuracy of all manufacturing documentation.
