Job summary

MDA invites a Systems Engineer – Satellite Ground Segment to join the Geointelligence Engineering Team in our Richmond, Vermont office. You will help design and deliver engineering solutions to control satellites, downlink imagery and telemetry, and process orders for customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Engineering Physics, 5+ years in a related field, and experience with Matlab, Python, STK, DOORS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Engineering Physics.
• 5+ years in a relevant field.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with Matlab, Python, STK, DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level requirements into lower-level feature requirements.
• Create engineering plans and interface control documents.
• Present design proposals to customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to work planning and cost estimates across the project lifecycle.
• Support validation and verification activities of the system.
