Amazon Leo Government is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and analyze satellite and ground systems, including electronic components and PCB layouts. The role involves board bring-up, test, and working with cross-functional teams to produce compelling technical reports and proposals.

The successful candidate will lead sub-teams as needed and prepare clear, readable documentation. A US citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance are required.

Competenze

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of schematic and layout ECAD tools experience; PCB design and debugging.

Mansioni

• Interact with customers to understand requirements and translate to robust solutions.
• Responsible for electrical circuit and power considerations for hosting RF/communications; EMI/EMC evaluation.
• Identify customer requirements and pursue high-quality, innovative designs.
• Perform electrical design and layout trade studies for satellite and ground subsystems; collaborate with cross-discipline teams.
• Facilitate cost trades for multiple configurations balancing cost, manufacturability, and design risk.
• Prepare well-written documentation, reports, and presentations for design reviews and proposals.
• Design and support test campaigns for development and qualification/acceptance.
