Amazon Leo Government in Los Angeles is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on satellite and ground system design and analysis of electronic components, circuits, and sub-systems. You will work cross-functionally with engineers and partners, preparing concise reports and proposals.

The role requires translating customer needs into robust, testable designs, leading small sub-teams, and delivering clear documentation. US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance may be required.

Formación

• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools and PCB design and debugging.

Responsabilidades

• Interact directly with customers to understand technical requirements, and translate them into technically robust solutions backed by data and analysis
• Responsible for electrical circuit and power accommodations for hosting sensitive RF and communications including EMI/EMC evaluation
• Identify top level customer requirements and ensure high quality and innovative designs are pursued
• Perform electrical design and layout trade studies for satellite and ground equipment electrical and power sub-systems.
• Facilitate cost trades on multiple parallel configurations for cost/manufacturability vs design uncertainty
• Deliver well-written documentation, reports, and presentations for technical design reviews and as part of proposal efforts
• Design and support test campaigns, both development and qualification/acceptance, for space/aerospace hardware
