Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer to provide onsite SETA services for government satellite programs, focusing on acquisition, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and crypto systems. Candidates must hold active TS/SCI with poly, be willing to travel up to 25%, and demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills in a fast-paced national security environment.

The role involves evaluating vendor proposals, developing testing frameworks, and coordinating with COTRs

Qualifications

• RMF and information security policies familiarity.
• Understanding space communication, network, and crypto systems design and testing.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Support SPO in acquisition planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of comms, network, and crypto acquisitions.
• Build, automate testing frameworks and security assessments; remediate red/blue team findings; improve cybersecurity posture.
• Develop documents and briefings for status updates to Government and industry as required.
• Coordinate with COTRs and SMEs to modify and maintain contract documentation.
• Review CDRL deliverables for content, accuracy, and sufficiency to meet program requirements.
• Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings between developers and COTR.
• Travel as required (up to 25%).
