Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a software engineer to design and implement commerce applications powering Amazon's satellite connectivity. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions across devices and browsers.

You will leverage AI tools and AWS services to accelerate feature delivery, participate in code reviews, and mentor teammates on best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement commerce applications and services for Amazon's satellite connectivity offering.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, marketing, and backend teams to translate needs into scalable solutions across devices and browsers.
• Leverage generative AI tools and agentic development workflows to accelerate feature delivery, and improve infrastructure using AWS native services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback while coaching others on best practices and design patterns.
• Write documentation for the team’s software, train new members, and drive root-cause resolution for operations.
