Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Antenna Intern to support the design, build, and test of antenna systems for current and next-generation satellite payloads. You will work closely with mechanical, thermal, and payload engineers to ensure high-performance, on-orbit flexible antenna solutions.

Qualifications

• Fundamental electromagnetics and antenna fundamentals.
• Experience measuring components using vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal sources.
• Proficiency with CST/HFSS/TICRA and scripting in Matlab or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and test antenna systems for ongoing and next-generation satellite payloads.
• Collaborate with Mechanical/Structural/Thermal/Payload teams on co-design.
• Validate performance through anechoic chamber testing and measurements.
