Job summary

Astranis invites applications for an Antenna Intern position for Summer 2027. This twelve-week, hourly internship is ideal for students currently enrolled at a four-year university, to work alongside Mechanical, Thermal and Payload engineers on antenna design, build, and test activities.

Candidates should understand electromagnetics, use VNA/Spectrum analyzers, and be proficient with CST/HFSS/TICRA and Matlab/Python scripting. U.S.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of electromagnetics and antenna fundamentals.
• Experience measuring components with vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Demonstrated ability to solve engineering challenges creatively.
• Familiar with CST/HFSS/TICRA and scripting in Matlab or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test antenna systems for ongoing and next-generation satellite payloads.
• Collaborate with vendors to design and procure antenna components and validate performance through testing.
• Co-design antenna components with Mechanical/Structural/Thermal/Payload teams.
