Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA is seeking an AI&T Systems Engineer to guide concept development, verification, and deployment of a critical space system. This role provides embedded SETA support to government program offices within an aggressive deployment schedule.

Ideal candidates have experience with satellite systems, program management, and acquisition processes, including SOW reviews and IMS assessments. TS/SCI clearance is required, and prior SAP exposure is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience providing systems engineering support for satellite systems and space programs.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic government/contractor environment and interact with senior personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA to Government Program Managers and Directors for accelerated space acquisition.
• Oversee rapid assembly, integration, test, launch, and readiness of a major satellite system.
• Oversee contractor AI&T activities to meet technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Lead and support ERBs, reviews, risk mitigation, and mission readiness.
