Job summary
Technogen, Inc. is seeking an experienced enterprise Linux/Unix administrator in Reston, VA.
The role requires 5+ years of Linux/Unix experience, strong security practices, and ability to manage databases, web services, and reporting tools in a regulated environment. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and possess a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with configuration management, change control, system lifecycle operations, patching, performance tuning, virtualization, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Experience implementing OS security controls and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), web services, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
