Job summary

Our client, an on-site Reston-based firm, is seeking a fully cleared Linux Systems Administrator. This role requires TS/SCI with FS Poly and US Citizenship.

The successful candidate will bring strong Linux expertise, AWS experience, and a background in automation and monitoring to support government and commercial customers. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and be able to install, configure, secure, patch, and monitor Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong Linux experience on physical and virtual environments.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, securing, patching and monitoring.
• Experience with automation and scripting.

Qualified Linux SysAdmin candidates should have the following:

• Strong experience with Linux systems, both physical and virtual
• AWS experience
• Experience with installing, configuring, maintaining, securing, patching, and monitoring
• Experience with automation and scripting

This role is full time onsite in Reston-VA. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI + FS Poly level government clearance. Candidates who do not currently possess this clearance will not be considered. US Citizenship is required
