Job summary

The Sarcoma Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston seeks a full-time medical oncologist (MD or MD/PhD) for an academic investigator position focused on translational and clinical research allied with expert subspecialty care.

The successful candidate will lead translational projects, contribute to diagnostic and therapeutic biomarker studies, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows across clinic, inpatient, and laboratory settings within the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD required; US board certified/eligible in IM and Medical Oncology.
• Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School; translational/clinical focus.
• Experience teaching medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational and clinical research within sarcoma subspecialty.
• Contribute to diagnostic biomarker studies and mechanism-based therapies.
• Teach in clinic, inpatient and laboratory settings with cross-institution collaboration.
