Job summary

Luxium Solutions, LLC in Milford, NH seeks a Manufacturing Technician to perform precision machining on sapphire components, including surface and cylindrical grinding, while maintaining tight tolerances and quality.

This 90-day temp-to-hire role operates on the second shift with a $20.00-$24.00 hourly wage, a $750 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including an annual bonus, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on machining experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Second shift schedule.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs and work instructions.
• Proficient in shop math and measurement tools.
• Experience with micrometers and calipers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret travelers, orders, blueprints and process instructions.
• Operate machines to cut, chamfer, polish, and size parts per specs.
• Cut parts on tile saw and perform belt sanding as needed.
• Inspect parts and document data, ensuring first-piece quality.
• Perform in-process inspection for parallelism, angles, and finish.
• Maintain data records and transport parts as required.
• Primarily run lapping machines to polish sapphire.
