Job summary

Bull City Talent Group seeks an experienced SAP Transportation Management consultant to join a post-go-live support team for a manufacturing company undergoing a large S/4HANA rollout. You will stabilize and optimize transportation and logistics operations, owning issue triage through resolution.

Responsibilities include analyzing incidents, configuring TM functions, supporting TM-S/4HANA integration, conducting fit-gap analyses, writing and executing tests, and collaborating with business users

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP TM functional experience (embedded or standalone).
• At least one full-lifecycle implementation, plus production support or hypercare experience.
• Strong TM configuration skills and solid understanding of transportation planning and execution.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA logistics and order-to-cash integration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues under time pressure in a live environment.
• Experience with testing methodology and tools (e.g., Solution Manager, ALM, or similar).
• Clear communicator who can work with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the post-go-live hypercare and support team for SAP TM.
• Triage, analyze, and resolve production issues and incidents; perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes.
• Configure and enhance TM functionality, including order-based and delivery-based transportation requirements, freight units, freight orders and bookings, planning and optimization, carrier selection and tendering, and charge calculation / freight settlement.
• Support integration between TM and S/4HANA (SD, MM, LE, EWM, FI/CO) and external interfaces (carriers, EDI, telematics).
• Conduct fit-gap analysis on new and changed business requirements and recommend solutions.
• Write test scripts and execute unit, integration, and regression testing; support user acceptance testing.
• Work with business users, logistics operations, and technical teams to prioritize and resolve tickets within SLAs.
• Document configuration changes, fixes, and knowledge articles; help transfer knowledge to internal support staff.
