Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to design, configure, and optimize SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA. This onsite contract role focuses on resolving transportation bottlenecks, streamlining freight management, order execution, and settlement processing across enterprise networks.

You will lead discovery sessions, translate complex logistics workflows into scalable architectures, integrate SAP TM with related SCM applications, and mentor junior consultants

Qualifications

• Experience implementing SAP TM in S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to design end-to-end SAP TM solutions.
• Experience with freight settlement and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP TM modules within S/4HANA to support order transportation planning, logistics execution, carrier selection, and freight settlement.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders to translate complex logistics workflows into scalable system architectures.
• Integrate SAP TM seamlessly with S/4HANA modules and related supply chain applications to guarantee reliable data flow across warehouse, enterprise, and freight operations.
• Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing strategies to validate solution functionality against enterprise business requirements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Operating within the Supply Chain and Logistics Organization, the Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant will report directly to the Enterprise Applications Delivery Lead. The primary objective of this role is to design, configure, and optimize end-to-end SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA, resolving complex transportation bottlenecks and streamlining freight management, order execution, and settlement processing across enterprise logistics networks.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure and implement SAP TM modules within S/4HANA to support order transportation planning, logistics execution, carrier selection, and freight settlement.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders to translate complex logistics workflows into scalable system architectures.
• Integrate SAP TM seamlessly with S/4HANA modules and related supply chain applications to guarantee reliable data flow across warehouse, enterprise, and freight operations.
• Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing strategies to validate solution functionality against enterprise business requirements.
• Deliver post-go-live production support, perform root-cause analysis on technical/functional issues, and mentor junior consultants on SAP TM best practices.
