Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an SAP TOOLS Lead to design and implement scalable SAP ABAP based tools for assessments and presales. You will partner with Sales, Competency and delivery teams to deliver tool solutions and drive architectural excellence.

The role requires 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience, CDS views, S/4HANA ABAP, SPAU/SPDD, and hands-on performance tuning. Excellent communication and presales involvement are essential for success in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP ABAP tool development and architecture.
• Lead design and development of SAP ABAP-based tools.
• Experience with CDS views and ODATAS in S/4HANA contexts.
• Hands-on with S/4HANA ABAP upgrades and SPAU/SPDD.
• Strong knowledge of CCMS and BPML tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presales involvement.

Job Description – SAP TOOLS Lead

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible Tools to support Assessments and presales. Partner with our Sales, Competency and delivery organizations to help and deliver the tools.

Basic Qualifications:

• Architect SAP ABAP Solutions: Lead the design, development, and architecture of SAP ABAP based Tools and Solutions.
• Think beyond general ABAP and able to slice and dice the SAP Core to understand and Identify the opportunities for Tools.
• Previous experience in developing custom tools for SAP
• Should have knowledge and implementation expertise in Tools like CCMS, BPML
• Should have experience in SPAU/SPDD, Version Upgrades
• Should have handson with S/4HANA ABAP implementation, especially in CDS views, new extension and enhancement concepts and ODATAS
• Should have knowledge in Performance Tuning & Optimization
• Should have knowledge in Clean Core concepts
• Good Communication skills and presales involvement

Degree:

Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have; (But not a must)
