Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an SAP ABAP professional in the United States with experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions and enhancing standard programs using ABAP. Familiarity with WM/IM/EWM and SAP HANA is preferred.

The role requires strong technical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex projects and tasks. On-site location in Plainfield, Indiana, with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and implementing SAP solutions in ABAP.
• Experience using ABAP to modify SAP standard programs with enhancements.
• Preferred experience with WM/IM/EWM modules.
• Experience with SAP HANA.

Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements from Functional team for application releases.
• Establishing solution architecture, detailed functional design, system test strategy and other project documentation for the end-to-end solution with estimation.
• Preparing prototype and design for the proposed implementation based on current architecture.
• Providing support during all forms of testing.
• Deploying application to Production (including verification of application initialization and go-live).
• Providing end user support to resolve issues, determine root cause and facilitate the escalation to other support groups, as necessary.

• Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience using the ABAP programming language to modify and enhance SAP standard programs with the SAP enhancement framework.
