Job summary

Truist is seeking an SAP technical leader to deliver and guide complex SAP solutions across ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud-integrated landscapes. You will partner with product owners, solution architects, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure SAP architectures and modern development standards.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, architectural decisions, and governance, including ABAP, CDS, Fiori, and BTP integrations with a focus on high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and IT best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes and competitive IT strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of customized SAP solutions and integrations.
• Develop and maintain programs to enhance SAP applications using ABAP and related tools.
• Serve as technical lead for SAP development with adherence to architecture and security standards.
• Lead analysis, design, development, testing, and support of highly complex SAP solutions.
• Architect and support integrations between SAP and enterprise/cloud platforms using APIs and middleware.
• Provide leadership for S/4HANA development including CDS views, RAP, and BTP integrations.
• Build monitoring, logging, and operational readiness for SAP apps.
• Lead code reviews, design sessions, and mentor junior developers.
• In Agile, deliver high-quality software, participate in backlog refinement, and ensure knowledge transfer.
