The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Manager to join our SuccessFactors team. Using SAP technology, we address organizational challenges in the digital age. Our approach emphasizes a comprehensive, business-centered perspective that includes strategy, customer value, user experience, processes, and operational impacts.

In this role, you will identify and define user and customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions to complex problems, recommend policy changes, and establish procedures impacting your work area.
  • Use judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for results.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to ensure successful task completion.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills and business understanding.
  • Quickly assimilate new knowledge.
  • Deliver quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Build relationships with client personnel at various levels.
  • Lead workshops to gather requirements and design SAP Employee Central Payroll solutions, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Manage workstream plans and review RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) for the payroll workstream, proactively mitigating risks.
  • Support configuration and design of SAP Employee Central Payroll, ensuring seamless integration with HR, Time Management, and third-party systems.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams and clients to resolve payroll issues, ensuring timely and compliant payroll processing.
  • Implement and manage payroll runs, addressing data issues to ensure accuracy.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP SuccessFactors capabilities.
  • Gather requirements and assess impacts across modules.

  • Act as a liaison translating needs into business solutions.
  • Configure and integrate SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies.
  • Experienced in application delivery and development tools.
  • Strong in quality assurance and testing.
  • Understanding of system development lifecycle and technology integration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
  • Over 8 years of SAP SuccessFactors experience, including 3-4 full implementations in complex or union environments.
  • Strong research skills related to regulations, industry practices, and technologies.
  • Deep technical expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll, including configuration and data processes.
  • Experience with SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) in unionized settings.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central integration with SF ECP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Certification.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior consulting or deep functional process experience.
  • Experience leading teams and multiple full-cycle implementations.
