Job Overview:

The IT SAP Solutions Architect – Finance is responsible for leading technical engagements for the SAP Finance solutions (S/4 Hana Finance) and uses strategic thinking regarding business, product, and technical challenges to connect technology and finance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads the architecture design and implementation of SAP Finance Solutions aligned with business and project objectives.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners and Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Defines and integrates the SAP Finance Architecture roadmap into UNFI’s enterprise architecture standards and processes.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance on SAP project teams, shares best practices in configuration, integration, and data management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements and consult with process stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Supports other integration into other modules and other third party-systems.
• Provides consultation to other technology teams and business teams.
• Communicates technical issues and technology solutions to project teams and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance or related fields.
• SAP Certifications such as System Administration, Finance, or Architecture preferred.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Finance with at least 2 years in Solutions Architecture or lead technical role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
• Experience in deployment in complex on-premises and hybrid environment.
• Experience in supply chain industry a plus.

• Extensive SAP Finance knowledge.
• Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively regardless of audience.
• Data modeling skills to understand master data and transactional data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interpersonal skills that demonstrate relationship building and collaboration.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Remote Role:

• This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. • This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.
