SAP Security Lead — Program Security Officer

Job summary

ManTech is seeking a career-focused Program Security Officer, Journeyman for its Huntsville, AL team. You will oversee special access security for the Missile Defense Agency and support thousands of personnel across multiple locations.

You will lead SAP security programs, provide training, manage documentation, and ensure secure facilities and incidents are controlled, with periodic CONUS/OCONUS travel requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related field or 4 additional years of education or experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years as a Program Security Officer (PSO).
• 3+ cumulative years in acquisition SAPs; last SAP-related position within the last nine months.
• Experience developing and implementing a multi-disciplined security program for SAPs.
• Knowledge of personnel, industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security disciplines.
• Periodic travel is required for CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Must be able to travel for periods exceeding two weeks per occurrence.

Responsibilities

• Interface with senior agency leadership and government officials to develop, document and publish MDA SAP Security Policy to protect sensitive special programs.
• Provide all facets of program security management in support of SAP initiatives, to include personnel, physical, information, industrial, and SCI security.
• Present indoctrination, debrief, and refresher training for program briefed personnel regarding obligations to protect classified information
• Ensure adequate secure storage and workspaces for customers, conduct annual inventory of accountable classified material and provide guidance and oversight to defense contractors.
• Prepare CUAs, MOUs, and MOAs for resident non-MDA SAPs for review and approval, develop and maintain SAP documentation
• Prepare and submit SOP, monitor security incidents. Maintain SOP facility and personnel folders.
• Maintain TSCO log book. Implement all applicable requirements to maintain Facility IDS
