Job summary

The Hackett is seeking an experienced SAP Production Support specialist to maintain and troubleshoot SAP Analytics applications in live environments. You will be the primary contact for SAP Analytics production issues and collaborate with SAP Basis and Solution Delivery teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in SAP support, CDS views development, and SAC exposure, with bonus for SAP Datasphere or BW. The role demands strong problem solving under pressure and thorough documentation of resolutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP support, with production support in live environments.
• Minimum 3 years developing and customizing CDS views.
• At least 3 years with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• SAP Datasphere expertise a plus.
• SAP BW experience a plus.
• Experience navigating SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes and data across Finance, Sales, Manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure production environments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.

Job description

The Application Managed Service (AMS) team provides business technology support, service management, and relationship management for SAP Analytics applications. The role requires proficiencies in SAP Core Data Services (CDS), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and involves supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications in live production environments.

Job responsibilities

• Production Support: Serve as the main contact for SAP Analytics related production issues. Identify, analyze, and address incidents to reduce downtime and business impact
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide hands-on support for critical production issues related to SAP Analytics technologies
• Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as SAP Basis, SAP Functional consultants, and Solution Delivery, to resolve issues and implement minor changes
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues and recommend or implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation for issue resolutions, processes, and system configurations

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP support, with a strong focus on production support in a live environment
• A minimum of 3 years of Experience with developing and customizing CDS views
