Job summary

Our client is seeking an accomplished SAP S/4HANA BRIM Consultant for a remote 6+ month renewable contract opportunity on the East Coast. You will provide L2/L3 functional support for BRIM, aligned to ITIL/AMS governance.

You will configure end-to-end BRIM processes (CM, CC, CI, FI-CA), handle revenue and order-to-cash integration with S/4HANA, and collaborate with finance, customer service, and IT teams to deliver continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP experience with SAP BRIM expertise.
• Experience supporting BRIM in production and AMS.
• Solid knowledge of billing, subscription, finance, and revenue management.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP BRIM per ITIL/AMS.
• Triage root cause for billing, invoicing, subscription issues.
• Configure end-to-end BRIM processes including CM, CC, CI, FI-CA.
• Support revenue and order-to-cash integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Coordinate with business, finance, and IT stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Assist release management and maintain runbooks and SOPs.

Role – SAP S4 HANA BRIM Consultant

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP BRIM (incidents, service requests, problems, changes) aligned to ITIL/AMS governance.
• Perform triage and root cause analysis for billing, charging, invoicing, subscription, and receivables-related issues.
• Support and configure end-to-end BRIM processes
• Primarily Convergent Mediation (CM) and usage data processing where applicable.
• Convergent Charging (CC) for usage-based and recurring charging scenarios.
• Convergent Invoicing (CI) including billable item processing, invoicing, and bill generation.
• Contract Accounting and Receivables Management (FI-CA) including collections, disputes, payment allocation, and account maintenance.
• Convergent Mediation (CM) and usage data processing where applicable.
• Revenue and order-to-cash processing integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage minor enhancements and configuration changes including pricing, charging plans, invoicing rules, business partner setup, account determination, and collections processes.
• Support monitoring and controls including billing jobs, invoicing runs, charging processes, interface monitoring, reconciliation activities, and operational KPIs.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across BRIM, S/4HANA Finance, SAP SD, SAP BTP, middleware, and external subscription platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders, finance teams, customer service teams, and IT teams to refine requirements, prioritize backlog, and deliver continuous improvements.
• Support release management activities including impact assessments, regression testing, UAT support, deployment validation, and hypercare.
• Maintain support artifacts including runbooks, SOPs, process flows, functional specifications, knowledge articles, and KT documentation .

Technical and Delivery Skills:

• Ability to translate business and production support issues into actionable requirements for technical teams (ABAP, Fiori, Integration, BTP, APIs).
• Experience with BRIM batch job monitoring, interface troubleshooting, reconciliation processes, and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a fast-paced support environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting SLA commitments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of SAP experience with significant experience in SAP BRIM .
• Experience supporting SAP BRIM in production and AMS environments.
• Strong understanding of billing, subscription, finance, and revenue management processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

Highly Desired Skills:

• SAP BRIM certification.
• Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) .
• Experience with SAP BTP , SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
• Exposure to subscription-based business models, healthcare, life sciences, telecommunications, or high-tech industries.
• Knowledge of cloud subscription management and digital commerce platforms.
• ITIL certification.
