Job summary

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. seeks an SAP S/4 Technical Development Lead to design, build, and deploy SAP S/4HANA applications. You will work with ABAP OO, CDS Views, SAPUI5, and OData services while collaborating with offshore and onshore teams throughout the SDLC.

The role requires strong hands-on development with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori elements, and BTP knowledge. Candidates may be based nationwide, with a preference for Ohio/Columbus, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of SAP technical development experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong hands-on ABAP OO development experience.
• Experience with CDS views, OData services, Fiori elements and SAPUI5.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, cloud connectors, and deployment to backends.
• Familiarity with IDOCs, ALE, BAPIs, BADIs, and RICEFW concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; US travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, enhance, troubleshoot, and deploy SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams across the SDLC.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and estimates.
• Provide production support and participate in code reviews.
