Job summary

Job Title : SAP S/4HANA Transformation – Project Systems (PS) Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) Leadto lead the design, implementation, and delivery ofPS workstreamsin large-scaleSAP S/4HANA transformation programs. The role is responsible for aligning project-based business processes with SAP S/4HANA best practices, ensuring seamless integration with Finance and Logistics, and driving successful transformation outcomes.

The PS Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality S/4HANA PS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PS workstream in S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition).


• Own end-to-end delivery ofProject-to-Cash (P2C)andProject Costing & Controllingprocesses.


• Act as the primary escalation point for all PS-related topics.

Solution Design & Configuration

• Drive solution design and hands-on configuration for SAP PS including:

S/4HANA Transformation Activities

• LeadFit-to-Standard (F2S)workshops and process harmonization sessions.


• ManageECC to S/4HANA PS simplificationsand functional impacts.

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate integration withFI, CO, MM, SD, PM, and HRmodules.


• Ensure seamless integration withProcurement, Billing, and Finance.


• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, CPI, interfaces) for enhancements and integrations.

Testing, Cutover & Go-Live

• Lead PS-relatedunit testing, SIT, UAT, and defect management.


• Owncutover planningfor open projects, budgets, and settlements.


• Providego-live and hypercare support, ensuring stable operations.

Governance & Team Leadership

• Ensure adherence toSAP Activate methodology, project standards, and documentation.


• Review and approve functional designs, configurations, and test artifacts.


• Mentor PS consultants and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP PS Expertise

• 12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Project Systems.


• At least2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projectsin a PS Lead role.


• Strong understanding ofproject-based accounting and controlling.

S/4HANA & Finance Integration

• Proven experience leading PS delivery in large SAP programs.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification in Project Systems or Finance


• Experience withSAP Activate methodology


• Industry experience in Engineering, Construction, EPC, Energy, or Professional Services


• Exposure toSAP CPM, EPPM, or SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM)is an advantage

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
